Academic Tutoring

I offer individual and group tutoring to meet these concerns and more. I aim to understand my students' strengths and weaknesses, to help them become well-rounded students, and to act as a guide through the rigors of academic life. I work closely with parents to include them in the process.

My students improve in their subjects by an average of one full letter grade. I also help them become better at completing their assignments on their own -- the goal is for them one day not to need my services! At the same time, I don't only stress good grades with my students. I want them to develop critical thinking and analytical skills that will benefit them in school and the workplace.
I work with students who are struggling in a subject, as well as students who are receiving good
grades. I believe all students can benefit from individual tutoring. I also help strong students
exceed their grade level and pursue their individual academic interests.
I am a strong advocate for summer tutoring to prevent learning loss, prepare students for new grades and schools, and cultivate interest and abilities in areas they enjoy.
